04 Apr We’re Wild About NAWBO (And You Should Be, Too)
NADI is a big fan of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), an organization dedicated to helping women start and grow businesses of all sizes.
NAWBO members include Sara Blakely, founder of Spanx and head of The Sara Blakely Foundation, and Katrina Markoff, founder and CEO of luxury chocolatier Vosges Haut Chocolat and Wild Ophelia.
Founded in 1975 by a group of influential and visionary women, NAWBO now serves as a single voice for more than 10.1 million women-owned businesses in the United States.
NAWBO was a major supporter in the 1988 passage of the Women’s Business Ownership Act that was signed into law by President Ronald Reagan landmark piece of legislation that opened up access to capital, education and technical assistance for women-owned businesses.
NADI is proud to be one of the sponsors at a luncheon for NAWBO on April 12th, where we will host a tasting of NADI rosehip drink for attendees.
We’re also excited to hear keynote speaker Kevin McGee, an entrepreneur and motivational speaker with Speak Life, LLC, who is an expert on converting leads into closed sales.
Won’t you join us in supporting NAWBO, in honor of the strong women in your life?
We hope to see you on April 12, and we’ll have a cold refreshing glass of NADI waiting for you.
