24 Dec Minimize Holiday Hangovers With Rosehip Drinks
The holidays are a time of excess, with rich foods, desserts and plenty of cocktails, wine, beer and other festive drinks.
That often leads to hangovers and sluggishness the next morning.
One way to minimize holiday hangovers and boost your body’s hydration is to drink plenty of fluids that have Vitamin C, potassium, B Vitamins and other healthy minerals and nutrients that can help your body recover faster.
Here are a few drinks that are great for helping you get over a hangover faster:
- Vitamin-rich beverages such as NADI rosehip drink
- Smoothies that contain fruits and vegetables
- Coconut water
- Low-calorie sports drinks
- Vitamin-enhanced water
- Herbal tea, white tea, green tea or black tea
We like to drink NADI Organic Wild Rosehip beverage because it’s a great source of Vitamin C, B Vitamins, antioxidants, polyphenols and other beneficial compounds that give your body a natural energy boost.
Rosehips are one of the best natural sources of Vitamin C. When freshly harvested, they have 25 times as much Vitamin C as oranges and lemons.
We make NADI with wild grown organic rosehip berries that are hand-harvested from plants in the forests of the Caucasus Mountains of Georgia. Each bottle of NADI delivers a complete dose of daily recommended Vitamin C needs.
You can also use NADI as a mixer to make fun, festive holiday cocktails. Here’s a recipe for Rosehip Holiday Punch:
Rosehip Holiday Punch
2 bottles of NADI Organic Wild Rosehip beverage
1 cup of vodka
2 ounces of Cointreau or other orange-flavored liqueur
1 can of Sprite
Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and gently stir to combine. Pour into highball glasses filled with ice, and use orange slices studded with whole cloves for garnish. Makes about 6 servings.
