Vitamin C comparisons per 100 grams of weight:
- Citrus fruits – approximately 50 mg vitamin C per 100g
- uncooked broccoli, kale and kiwi fruit – approximately 100 mg
- black currents, guavas, and some tropical vegetables – approximately 200-300 mg
- ROSEHIPS (Rosa Canina) – approximately 1250 mg
Rosehips also have high concentrations of vitamin A, Calcium and Iron, and they are rich sources of bioflavonoids, Pectin, Vitamin E, Selenium, Manganese, and B Complex Vitamins. The berries also contain Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sulphur and Silicon.
